Privacy policy

Summary
OpenSourceDL has no accounts, no ads, no tracking cookies and no analytics scripts. We don’t sell or share personal data.
What we collect
Nothing directly. The site is a set of static pages. We don’t ask for your name, email or any other details to browse or download.
Hosting and server logs
The site is hosted on Cloudflare, which processes technical data such as your IP address, browser type and the pages requested in order to deliver the site and protect it from attacks. Cloudflare handles this under its own privacy policy (cloudflare.com/privacypolicy).
Downloads and images from GitHub
Download buttons, release notes and project images link to or load from GitHub. When you download a file or a page shows a project image, your browser connects to GitHub, which may log your IP address under GitHub’s privacy statement. Once you leave this site, the other site’s policy applies.
Fonts
Text fonts load from Google Fonts, so your browser sends a request, including your IP address, to Google’s servers. Google’s privacy policy covers that request.
Storage in your browser
We set no cookies. The site keeps one small flag in your browser’s session storage so the logo animation plays only once per visit. It is deleted when you close the tab and never leaves your device.
Emails
If you email [email protected], we use your address and message only to reply and keep the conversation for our records. We never add you to a mailing list. Ask us at any time to delete your messages.
Children
The site is not aimed at children and knowingly collects no data from anyone.
Your rights
Depending on where you live (for example under the GDPR or CCPA) you can ask what data we hold about you, and ask us to correct or delete it. Since we hold almost none, this usually means emails you sent us. Write to [email protected].
Changes to this policy
If this policy changes, the new version will be posted on this page with a new date.
